Upbringing of a Pakistani girl - Realities

Image
Pakistan is ranked 151 in global gender gap out of 153 countries. So here the typical discussion of a patriotic society ends; that they give proper respect and rights of women. The rights of a women are most neglected thing in our society. No one want to talk about it. When a woman herself talk about her rights she is tagged with different names. Women faced unequal behaviour in all the aspects of society. In Pakistan minimum 90% of women even don't know about her rights. She takes it as the custom and norm of culture but she should be aware that human rights are important than any culture, norm and customs. The main question is that; why women didn't raise voice for her freedom? The answer it is their upbringing. Submissive behaviour is something like a default setting in our systems. Growing as a girl we are told that you should be delicate, fragile and you should never raise your voice in front of male family member. People gift her soft delicate dolls and little household

Some year back there gender was not included in national identity cards. Julie started her acti

Literature is the true representative

Literature is the essence of social morals and norms. it reflects the culture of a society in every perspective no mater good or bad because reflecting the immoral action it helps the society realise that on which areas they have to concentrate and put their energies. If you want to learn the behaviour of a society then you can take help from their literature. Literature is the soul and it depict our every action and the way of our thinking, our ideas and how we see life as. So we can say that literature is the mirror of a society. We will find diverse literature around the world and actually it is diversity which make the world beautiful. If you chose an American or Europe’s latest literature you will find a very important thing which is “consent” but at the same time African deprived countries lack this thing. If we find the books of the dark ages, we will really feel illness in them and also find the glimpse of passion for freedom. In a novel “kite runner” I feel the situation o

The socially constructed characteristics of women and man refer to genders such as norms, values, roles and relationships of and between groups of women and man. But here I also want to mention transgender because there are three genders. It varies from society to society and can be changed and developed. Pakistan is a male dominant country which results mostly to cause the less opportunities and authority of decision making for women and transgender. There are a lot of changed values and norms that varies from society to society although it is a Muslim country but still the norms and ethical values differ a lot There are two main objectives for genders. First objective seeks to identify categories and expend dialogue on gender oriented issues as, the chronic issues and emerging issues.
